We all follow a schedule, whether we set it or not. It can be a combination of work, obligations, “down time”, chores, hobbies, goals and other deadlines all together that make up our day to day life.
When we start feeling behind, overwhelmed, or unsatisfied, we can take a step back and look at what we want to accomplish during our days to make as much out of the time we have.
Does anyone else wish we had an extra 5 hours a day?! Me too! Creating a schedule that flows and helps round out your day can help make you feel like you have those extra hours!
First you have to brainstorm a bit. Imagine your day on the clock, going around in a circle. Where are the bumpy hours? How can you make them more smooth?
I’m not saying to plan every minute of your day, or even every hour, but taking the time to write down a daily goal, and having a rough idea will help.
Have you ever had so much to do, that you just don’t know where to start? So you just don’t? With a planned out day, week or even month you will have a goal written out, so you know where to start, when to start, and the overwhelm gets cut out by getting those tasks done, and accomplished.
Anyone can create a schedule, whether you stay at home, work, or do a combination. You can create separate schedules. One for education for the kids, one for meals, working out, or even for your business. You can even go all out and make one big master schedule, whatever works for you!
I know I feel more accomplished when I see everything I need to do, and then see all the tasks checked off and completed!
Depending on how you like scheduling, you can go simple with a check list, use an app with alarms and reminders that pop up, or go old school with pen and paper, or even a journal!
I created a basic daily, weekly and monthly schedule that you can download and use right away! Grab yours here!
